Akshay Kumar-Vaani Kapoor’s ‘Bell Bottom’ to arrive in theatres on May 28 – Times of India

Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor shot for the spy drama ‘Bell Bottom’ amidst the pandemic and the makers are now ready to unleash the entertainer on the big screen. Announcing the film’s release date, producer Jackky Bhagnani shared, “Mark your calendar #Bellbottom arrives in cinemas near you on 28th May, 2021!” Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, the film also features Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles.

Previously, Akshay Kumar had shared posters from the film and announced that ‘Bell Bottom’ will hit the screens on April 2, 2021, however a fresh date has been unveiled now. Vaani Kapoor, the leading lady of ‘Bell Bottom’, had also lauded the team and shared in a statement, “Shooting for ‘Bell Bottom’ was a really fun and good experience. Despite the challenges with the ongoing pandemic the team managed to have a really smooth and safe shooting experience while filming with a large crew for which they deserve all the credit.” ” The team of ‘Bell Bottom’ shot extensively for the film in London where a bio-bubble was created for them.

Apart from ‘Bell Bottom’, Akshay Kumar will also be seen in cop drama ‘Sooryavanshi’. The Rohit Shetty directorial was ready for release in March 2020, just when the lockdown was announced.
