Battle for justice

– Review

Two Indians staying in Kuwait are given death sentences by the Court. There is only one day gap before the punishment is executed. Family members of these two people released a video requesting to save them.

Priya Bhavani Shankar who works as a sub-editor in a Television Channel comes in possession of this video. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Director Sarjun K M has an interesting story line keeping the audience engaged throughout its run times. Though there are a few predictable scenes, layers in the screenplay keep the audience gripped.

The run-time of 90 minutes has also kept crisp without dragging much. Priya Bhavani Shankar is convincing as Rachel.

She plays the role of a bold journalist and it comes naturally to her as she started her career in journalism. She makes the audience empathise with her character through her emotions.

Kishore who plays a prominent role in the flick has limited scope to perform, but has done well in the scenes that he appears in.

Cinematographer G Balamurugan does a decent job. Satish Ragunathan’s music is apt for the mood of the movie.

Rating: 3.5/5
