– Review

Eternals created by celestials are beings with super powers from planet Olypmia.  They are sent by Arishem to fight against the Deviants who are destroying humans on Earth.

Though they had accomplished the task 7,000 years ago, they do not return to their planet as Arishem has not called them back.

All these years, these Eternals do not interfere in the activities of humans.
But they all had to come together again as a deviant returned to take its revenge. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Director Chloe Zhao has created a timeless superhero film with Eternals.
The movie begins in 5000 BC and travels till the present day. The new story commences after the Avengers: Endgame.

Sersi (Chan), Ikris (Hadden), Sprite (McHugh), Thena (Jolie), Gilgamesh (Dong-seok), Kingo (Nanjiani), Phastos (Tyree Henry), Makkari (Ridloff), Druig (Keoghan) and their leader, Ajak (Hayek) all have their own backstories. Each and everyone of them have performed well.

Each of the characters are neatly written. Cinematographer Ben Davis who has already worked in five MCU flicks has done a decent job. The action scenes are all captured well.

Rating: 3.8/5
