Raveena Tandon takes Covid test ahead of ‘KGF’ shoot in Dalhousie – Times of India

Raveena Tandon has stepped out of house, embracing the new norms of shooting amidst the ongoing pandemic. The actress has reported on the sets of her south biggie ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ and underwent a Covid test before getting into acting in front of the camera. Raveena poster a video on Instagram, where a health care worker is seen collecting her throat and nose swab for Covid test.

“In beautiful Dalhousie ! Now becoming a pro at taking covid tests! No gagging or tickled sneezing anymore! And all good to go! Getting back to work on location after 8 months . Last shot in Feb for #kgfchapter2 . Excited and raring to go! Send me some love and blessings people,” Ranveena had captioned the video.

Raveena essays the role of Prime Minister Ramika Sen in ‘KGF’, which features Yash in the lead. Speaking about her character, Raveena had previously told BT in an interview, “This is more of a pan-India film because it is releasing in all languages. It was something that really excited me because I have not played a character like what I’ve played in this film. She is positively great. It was a character that was very difficult to play because you couldn’t exactly be the villain of the story because you are also a positive character. I am playing the Prime Minister in the movie. Everyone says it is a take-off on Indira Gandhi, but no, it is not. It talks of the 70s and 80s and I think that is why everyone is assuming that I am playing a role similar to Ms Gandhi. I could be Sheikh Haseena for all you know!”
