Amber Heard and Johnny Depp
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have both had some tough years in the limelight in recent years. During their divorce in 2016, the actress first accused Johnny Depp of abuse and was given a temporary restraining order, leading to an investigation that found “no evidence of any crime”.
While they were finalizing their divorce in 2017, Johnny Depp claimed in 2019 that he was a victim of abuse by Amber Heard and filed a defamation lawsuit against her. Heard replied. For the time being, the proceedings are still ongoing.
